Transmission & Distribution (T & D)

Kadevi transmission and distribution division is setup to execute power transmission line projects from 66KV to 765KV with the associated substation equipment & structures on turnkey basis.

Kadevi is equipped with rare combination of full scale infrastructure under one roof with state-of-art facilities for manufacture of the following:

1. structural steel sections-angles, channels etc.,
2. Fabrication of transmission towers
3. Hot dip galvanizing of tower members,
4. Manufacture of high tensile fasteners,

 Kadevi is also equipped to undertake

1. Civil foundations,
2. Erection of towers,
3. Stringing as per design and specifications of our customers.

Kadevi is presently executing transmission projects for Reliance, 400KV at Samalkot, AP, KPTCL, 132KV & 250KV in Karnataka near Bangaluru and Reliance 220KV at Butiburi, Maharashtra, which, are under final stages of completion.

The product range of Kadevi includes all types of transmission tower starting from 66KV to 765KV. All the towers are manufactured as IS 802-1984 & IS 5613. The prototype towers are tested at CPRI and at separate national test labs.

Quality:

We ensure that the products and services are in conformity with national and international standards at all stages of inspection as under Incoming Material Inspection:

All the Incoming Materials are inspected and released in accordance with documented procedure to ensure adequacy with regard to requirements. In process Inspection:

On line Testing is carried out in process to ensure that Product Quality is in conformance with relevant Standards in respect of physical, chemical and mechanical compositions.

Final Inspection check is carried out to ensure that Product Quality is in conformance with specified requirements. Finishing and treatment process has been done for protection against corrosion and rust in line with International Standards.

Inspection and Test Reports / Records are maintained to establish that the product has passed inspection and testing in accordance criteria defined in the Inspection and Testing Procedures. Records are maintained for calibration and verification of monitoring and measuring equipments. We are ISO 9001-2008 certified for well maintained Quality Management Systems by NQA-UKAS.

Kadevi has experts in design of transmission towers for all capacities. It is also having highly qualified engineers for modern survey and tower spotting works. Our dedicated team of professionals carryout design works aimed at fully meeting relevant standards of all Electricity Boards and also power transmitting agencies like power-grid and state electricity boards.

Erection works are executed by highly skilled professional staff meeting the time framework.

At Kadevi, we believe in continual learning. We have a dedicated Learning and Development Centre headed by General Manager overseeing training needs of personnel of all divisions.

Kadevi has a very good record of safety during the projects execution at various stages of foundation /erection/cable stringing operations. Our technicians are well trained and experienced in the transmission line erection. We ensure that, all safe practices and safety equipment are used during the project execution by the technicians and supervisors.
